Excuse my ignorance, for I am a diesel mechanic and dont get much work on petrol V8 engines.

I recently bought a complete brand new injection system for the 5.0. It was a cheep buy off eBay (£55 or $90) and I collected it on saturday (230 mile round trip).

Everything is there. Manifold, injecters, sensors, throttle body... he even gave me a fairly new alternator and a new timing chain that he didnt need anymore, very nice of him!

One thing I have noticed is the plate on the top of the inlet plenim reads 5.0 HO. Where as the one on my car says FORD EFI. Can anyone explain the difference? Im guessing HO means High Output? Will it bolt straight on, and is it going to be different in power/responce/economy etc?

Thanks in advance :)
