Magellan are about to release the Magellan Explorist Pro 10, a GIS based product that allows you to collect data with attributes etc. Based exactly on the current Magellan Explorist series it has a 3" screen, so still a bit on the small side. I am pleased to see that it has bluetooth connectivity but the specifications of the 3.2mp camera is so so for a "pro" device. As it has Windows Mobile 6.5 there should be options for anyone to install their own GIS package. Magellan has announced a partnership with Canadian GIS firm Effigis and will be providing their onPOZ software. Not sure if this is included in the $699.
