Hi folks. I've been hiking for a number of years now but have, for the most part, always stuck to the beaten track or been on organised hikes with an experienced guide. I'm aiming to get a bit more adventurous over the coming months and venture a little further off grid. As such, I think it would be idiotic of me not to invest in a good handheld GPS. My funds are limited, so it would have to be a used GPS at best, but I am sure there must be plenty of reasonably priced, good quality ones out there. Could anybody recommend a particular brand or model and give me some idea of what I should expect to pay for a second hand one? All help much appreciated.
