In order to recruit eligible candidates for various posts into different departments like municipal Commissioner Subordinate Service, Commercial Taxes Subordinate Service, Revenue Subordinate Service, Secretariat Subordinate Service, Treasuries & Accounts Subordinate Service had applied and appeared for the APPSC Group II examination in the month of February.

As per the reports, a total of 6, 67, 010 candidates has successfully applied and appeared for the APPSC Group II Objective-based examination. After the completion of the Group II Main examination on 20th and 21st May 2017, the commission will shortlist the candidates based on their performance on the computer based test. The candidates must get a minimum qualifying mark in the Group II Prelims exam so as to get the job in different posts in various departments. The candidates of BC category must get 157.5 marks, SC, ST and PH candidates must obtain a minimum of 135 marks in order to qualify in the Group II screening test. Other category students must get 180 marks in the prelims examination.
Based on the performance of the candidate in the APPSC Group II mains computer-based examination, the commission will finally select the candidates for recruiting them into different posts in various departments.
