Nashville, Tenn. — Dec. 3, 2013 — Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, is ensuring energy efficiency through new Goulds Water Technology brand products, which will be featured at the 2013 National Ground Water Association (NGWA) show, December 3-6 in Nashville, Tenn. Xylem will exhibit its broad product portfolio, including five new products and a host of others at booth 803.

 

The annual NGWA trade show attracts more than 4,000 professionals from all sectors of the industry, including water well drillers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, scientists and engineers. The expo offers more than 70 hours of educational programming spanning topics from drilling methods to water well maintenance to groundwater supply.

 

“At NGWA, we’re highlighting some of our newest technologies built with improved energy efficiency ratings and lowered total cost of ownership,” said Kyle Schoenheit, global product manager for Xylem’s Applied Water Systems business unit. “Xylem engineered its latest products to help businesses and municipalities stay ahead of the curve in ground water and wastewater applications.”

 

On display at the show will be the recently-introduced e-HM series stainless-steel, horizontal multistage pump from Goulds Water Technology, a Xylem brand. The water pump is engineered for commercial and industrial applications, including water treatment, and is up to 30 percent more efficient than most similar pumps on the market.

 

The company will also showcase the Goulds Water Technology 50L 6-inch stainless steel submersible pump for groundwater supply applications. The submersible well pump is used to move water from below ground to direct use applications, including municipal water supply, crop irrigation and other water need uses. Compared to previous models, the 6-inch L-series platform has improved efficiency design providing a lower lifecycle cost and reduced energy consumption.

 

Other recent products on display at NGWA 2013 will include:

CentriPro Aquavar intelligent pump controller:Using a new modular platform, the Aquavar is designed to provide variable frequency pumping control of speed, pressure, flow and level over a wide range of submersible and above ground applications.  

Goulds Water Technology HS 4-inch submersible pump: The newest addition to the industry-leading submersible line features a crimped design for strength in even the harshest conditions. Built with superior engineered composite materials and field-proven floating stage hydraulics, the pump delivers dependable operation and has a long service life.

CentriPro AquaStart soft-starter: This combination soft starter enables easy installation with factory pre-set pump parameters. Using thermal image motor protection and digital inputs, Aquastart offers enhanced motor and system protection for residential, commercial and industrial pumping applications.
