We're into March and that means spring is just a few weeks away! The flowers are just starting to poke through the ground here and you too can get a head start on the season by wearing these great spring nail polishes on your nails.
I selected five nail polish trends I think are standouts this season. For each trend, I'll share a polish in my collection and information about where you can purchase them. I've also created a Spring 2013 Nail Polish Trends board on Pinterest :)
5. Brilliant Sky Blue
What better color to cheer you up than a vivid bright creamy blue? Pick up a polish in this hue and you're sure to be in a springy mood just by looking at your nails :)

4. White Polish with Buried Confetti Glitter
Polishes with a colorful assortment of glitter sweetly suspended in a milky white base look fresh and springy. While the majority of polishes in this category are hand made, they are widely available through independent nail polish retailers and Etsy. With so many options from various indie brands, you'll be sure to find just the right one (or two!) for you.

1. Texture, Texture, Texture!
Exploding onto the nail polish scene this spring is the textured nail polish trend. Soon enough we will have a textured polish available in every color from almost every major brand. But only time will tell if this is a trend that is here to stay, or if this is a trend doomed to share space in clearance bins around the world with all those crackle effect polishes...
