Just when you think you know what’s happening on Survivor 2013, things change. The Survivor Season 27 contestants are going to get a big surprise tonight that will force them to change the way they have been playing. Who will be eliminated on tonight’s Survivor 2013 Live Recap?
Last week on Survivor 2013, Brad finally shut up John and Candice. The three competed on Redemption Island. Husband and wife, John and Candice will no longer be in the game together. Candice was eliminated during last week’s Survivor 2013 Redemption Island challenge.
The Tadhana tribe consistently loses on Survivor 2013. Last week, they were renewed by the absence of Brad. The tribe won their first immunity challenge and reward. Their win also meant Galang had to face tribal council for the first time.
Galang went back and forth between which Laura to eliminate. Galang ended up voting Laura M. last week. The tribe hopes Laura M. will eliminate Brad on Redemption Island, which will in turn weaken Monica.
The tribe may not need Laura M. to weaken Monica. On tonight’s Survivor 2013, the tribes switch! Just when the contestants have formed solid alliances (or so they think), they will have to start all over. The Galang guys plan to eat all their new Tadhana tribes food, Monica won’t shut up, and some contestants will switch their tactics to play with blood instead of against.

Before the tribes went to Redemption Island, Gervase and Tyson talked about taking Aras out of the game. He is a leader position right now because so many people like him. They want to knock him out before the merge occurs.
Laura M. was very upset about being voted off on last week’s Survivor 2013. Her daughter Ciera had a feeling her mom was eliminated, but Laura M. was confident she could win the challenge. For this week’s Survivor 2013 Redemption Island challenge, Laura M., Brad, and John had to race across a balance beam and collect number tiles. Once all the tiles were collected they had to line them up from 1-100.
Laura M. pulled ahead of the guys quickly. John and Brad stayed tied for a while but Brad pulled ahead when John struggled to stay on the balance beam. Laura pulled farther ahead while John and Brad battled for second. Laura M. finished first. Brad and John were neck and neck to the end, but John finished first. Brad was eliminated from Survivor 2013. Galang’s plan worked and Monica is now on her own in Survivor Season 27. Laura M. gave the clue to immunity idol to Vytas. She gave it to him to make him a target, but just like Monica did the previous weeks, he burned the clue.
After the challenge Jeff Probst told the tribes to take off their buffs and draw for a new tribe! The new tribes:
Galang: Vytas, Monica, Tina, Katie, Laura B., Kat
Tadhana: Gervase, Aras,Tyson Ciera, Hayden, Caleb
As soon as Gervase and Tyson got back to Tadhana they started getting the scoop from the old tribe members to find out what went on with their voting. Hayden wasn’t too happy to when Tyson started eating all their food. On top of eating all the food, Tyson decided to make Aras look bossy so he will become a target.
On Galang Tina was happy to finally be able to play with her daughter Katie. Vytas was a little shaken by going from a secure position to being the odd man out. After the switch Monica started getting on Kat’s nerves. Monica wanted to strategize like crazy, but Kat just wanted her to be quiet.
Vytas knows is a target as the only male on the Galang tribe. He opened up to the women about his past in an effort to stay in the game.
Immunity Challenge: A pair from each tribe had to race into the water to a cage, dive under and release a fish trap. Once the cages were released they had to use the pieces inside the cages to assemble a vertical puzzle. On top of immunity, the winning tribe would win a picnic.
Gervase and Aras faced Laura B. and Tina first. Gervase and Aras released their trap first. Laura B. and Tina released the gate but swam all the way back without the trap. They had no idea what their tribe was yelling about until the Tadhana was already on their second trap.
Monica and Vytas tried to make up for their tribe mates mistake but Tadhana continued to pull ahead. Tadhana started working on their puzzle, while Galang finished retrieving fish traps. Aras and Tyson worked on the puzzle for Tadhana; and Tina and Monica worked on it for Galang. The women closed Tadhana’s lead fast. The finished their puzzle first, but it wasn’t right. They rearranged it but still didn’t have it. Tyson and Aras got the puzzle finished correctly and won immunity for Tadhana on tonight’s Survivor 2013.
Back at the Galang tribe Vytas was very upset with Tina and Laura B. but he knew he couldn’t say anything because he is already the target. The women planned on voting off Vytas, but Kat told Tina she wanted to vote off Monica. Tina didn’t like Kat wanting to be disloyal to her alliance, so she told Monica. Once Monica found out, she confronted Kat. Kat denied she ever threw Monica’s name out there for elimination. Kat decided to back off on voting off Monica. Monica wasn’t so easily swayed by Kat’s denial. Monica pushed the others to vote for Kat.
Tribal Council: At tribal Kat brought up her trust issues with Monica. Kat played up wanting to stick with the women, even though just hours ago she wanted Monica gone. Kat was willing to say anything to stay in the game and it was obvious to Monica. Vytas played up Kat’s disloyalty in an effort to take the attention off of himself. Before the vote, Kat begged the women not to vote for her. Did it work?
Votes: Vytas, Kat, Kat, Kat, Kat. Kat was voted off tonight’s Survivor 2013.
