Last weekend, Scotty, along with three brave souls from Practice CrossFit, braved the River Bluff triathlon.
“It’s my third,” Scotty says confirming that he’s no professional racer.
After a quarter-mile swim, Scotty pedaled for 14-miles and finished with a healthy 5k+.
“I did very little triathlon training for this one,” he said.
At just over 1:28, Scotty crossed the finish line. To prepare, he CrossFitted five days a week and tested his skills in the water, on the bike and on the road a hand full of times.
