Miller talks about House passage Thursday of his legislation clarifying that when an elected official resigns or is removed from legislative office, that the resignation or removal remains in effect for the remainder of the term and that individual cannot seek the same office in the special election to fill the vacant seat. Rep. Miller calls the clarification needed and good common sense.
