Floating Pumpkin Patch
Tired of searching those dusty fields for your perfect pumpkin? Today you can hunt for your pumpkin in the pool this year!! Today over 500 pumpkins will be floating in the warm water pool at the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool in Roseville. Rebuilding Sacramento
In 2013, a committed community of businesses and individuals launched the Mack Road Valley Hi Community Center in South Sacramento, as part of the Mack Road Partnership. The once empty lot now includes a community center that houses two basketball courts, a playground, playing fields, and numerous classes and a mobile health clinic for families and seniors in the neighborhood. Rebuilding Together Sacramento and about 50 volunteers from the community and some of our sponsors are coming together today to provide additional TLC to the center by adding new playground bark and paint to the play structure, adding planter boxes, mulch, new plants and drip system to the community garden, and converting a two-car garage into a dance studio/senior fitness room to include a HVAC system, flooring, dance bars, mirrors and clothing cubbies.

Disco-tech Gymnastics
This weekend Gymnastics from 33 teams across California and Nevada will compete at the Disco-Tech Invitational, a USA Gymnastics Sanctioned Event for Level 2-5 girls at Technique Gymnastics in Rancho Cordova. The meet is one of the largest in the region and brings 700 gymnasts for 2 days of competition.

Safe & Super Halloween
This weekend Fairytale Town is going to be transformed into a comic book city at this year’s Safe and Super Halloween event! Families can come out and meet their favorite superheroes, taking part in Wonder Woman’s Amazon training camp, and visiting the Hall of Justice. There will be 15 treat stations scattered throughout the park for trick-or-treaters to visit and a nightly costume parade! There will a magic show featuring Batman and Harley Quinn in the Children’s Theater.
