The eight bedrooms are spacious and outfitted with antique towel racks, terry robes and large closets. The third floor deck features a hot tub from which you and your guests can gaze out over the treetops to views of Vineyard Sound. Nearby is Mink Meadows Golf Course, a semi-private course that the public can play.
Gooseberry Cottage is a six-minute drive from the center of the town of Vineyard Haven where the Steamship Authority ferries arrive from Wood’s Hole. (Ferries also arrive in Oak Bluffs, about 10 minutes away.)
Close to Vineyard Haven
Vineyard Haven offers a number of excellent restaurants and eateries headed by the Black Dog Tavern and Moxie’s. Boutiques for shopping and cars and bikes for renting are all available right in town.
