Dataw Island, SC: Sailing Regatta Oct. 25.
> Dataw Island, SC and its Yacht Club is sponsoring the fifth annual Dataw Island Cup Sailing Regatta on Sat., Oct. 25. This is a race for mono hull, displacement sailboats with PHRF ratings that are 18 feet long and over. The race is 22 miles long and starts at noon in the Coosaw River, finishing at Dataw Marina.
There is a skipper’s meeting and BYO cocktail party at 6 p.m. at the Gazebo at Dataw Marina on Fri. Oct. 24, and an awards dinner, also at the Gazebo, starting at 6:30 p.m. after the race. Send me more information about Dataw Island!
