·Plan, perform and manage high priority and/or multi-jurisdictional highly confidential and sensitive investigations from beginning to end in an efficient, cost-effective and professional manner.

·Primary responsibility for investigations involving complex legal or regulatory issues involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) or other bribery laws around the world, fraud or financial reporting, kick-backs, and anti-trust and competition law.Responsibility will also include allegations involving significant violations of Xylem’s Code of Conduct or other policies, like conflicts of interest, as well as significant human resources matters.

·Developing investigation plans, conducting witness interviews, and supervising evidence collection and review.

·Developing and maintaining scalable standard operating procedures, guidelines and policies for conducting compliance investigations.

·Directing the work of internal and external service providers, including internal IT, external e-discovery specialists, internal and external auditors and external counsel.

·Assist regional legal teams with local compliance investigations.

·Evaluate trends and emerging patterns to ensure qualitative input into the company risk mitigation processes and otherwise assist with the development of enhancements to the Ethics and Compliance program

·Training attorneys, compliance professionals, internal auditors, HR professionals and others on investigation technique, strategy and processes

·Manage company’s response to government investigations, either directly or through outside counsel

·Engage, align, and communicate with all internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant appraisal of the facts and status and findings of the investigation on a need to know basis.

·Update Legal and Compliance functions on evolving legal developments regarding government or internal investigations and/or areas of significant compliance risk.

Required Experience:

JD required

Minimum 5 + years of relevant investigatory experience

Prior experience as either a government prosecutors or other enforcement attorney with experience investigating and prosecuting companies with respect to compliance matters or experience representing individuals in criminal matter is preferred. Law firm candidates with significant experience counseling large multinational clients on compliance investigations will also be considered.

Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and international laws, regulations and relevant best practices.

Experience working with senior leadership and presenting before senior leaders .

Experience dealing with cross-border issues and other issues related to compliance, privacy and security .

Ability to work in a complex international environment with sensitivity to different cultures.

Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality. Must be task oriented with an excellent sense of priority, logic and objectivity, highly organized and capable of handling a number of sensitive and important issues simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects with simultaneous time sensitive deadlines .

Position requires judgment, discretion and the ability to interact with many country cultures and senior management.

Maturity and ability to function independently as well as balancing strong team-work and collaborative approach.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Travel-15%-20%
