The Regulatory Attorney will provide legal support and counseling for a broad range of regulatory issues to the Global Human Health Division, with a focus on counseling clients in the area of FDA promotion and labeling of drugs and vaccines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide FDA regulatory advice on advertising and promotional strategy and tactics to clients in marketing and sales departments
- Advise research organization on regulatory issues related to product development and labeling.
- Develop expertise in specific areas of FDA regulatory law to serve as advisor to the business and other attorneys
- Provide legal services, advice and guidance that is consistent with law and Company policy; furthers business objectives and appropriately balances divisional/function/corporate business objectives and legal risks
- Exercise judgment to drive decisions on routine and non-routine matters within area of practice
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited US law school
- Admission to the Bar of Pennsylvania or another state
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience as an attorney in a law firm or corporate setting, in either the pharmaceutical area OR product liability litigation
Preferred:
- Experience in product liability litigation and business counseling is a plus
- Excellent teamwork, communication and analytical skills and an aptitude for managing a portfolio of issues
