Position Overview

Position: AVP, Global Trans Banking Attorney

Seeking qualified attorney in Deutsche Bank’s Legal Department in Jacksonville who will support the Bank’s Global Transaction Banking cash management and trade services businesses. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 4 years of legal experience at a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel at a financial institution with experience in cross border cash management arrangements and trade services financing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Negotiate and prepare final documentation for both domestic and cross-border Cash Management (CM) arrangements for corporate customers, including master agreement for CM relationship; and arrangements for account services, electronic banking, funds transfer, check issuance, and investment of short-term liquidity

Negotiate and prepare final documentation for confirmed payables service (for the purchase of accounts receivables), part of Deutsche Bank’s supplier finance business within its Trade Services division (TS).

Coordinate, review and assist in finalizing external counsel due diligence for cross-border confirmed payables arrangements and electronic banking services.

Work involves coordinating with sales, credit and implementation units in structuring transactions and communicating with TS/CM clients; drafting and negotiating relevant documentation; identifying unusual legal, operational or credit risks and ensuring that such risks are appropriately addressed and /or escalated.
