Position Summary: This position will report to the Vice-President and General Counsel, Global Specialty IP Litigation and Trademarks. The primary role will be the development and implementation of a global trademark strategy, particularly in the growth markets and domain names, and providing related strategic advice across the company’s business units. The position will include management of oppositions and opposition strategy, trademark risk assessment, and related advice to management. Some trademark licensing work will be involved.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Education Required:
J.D. from accredited law school
Education Preferred
Experience Required:
10 years experience as a trademark attorney (law firm, in house, or combined), with international experience and experience in the pharmaceutical and/or consumer goods industries.
Experience Preferred:
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
Member of PA bar or ability to become a member
Functional Knowledge:
Trademark law, including United States and Europe; domain name law; working knowledge of copyright laws
Company/Industry Related Knowledge:
Pharmaceuticals and/or consumer goods trademark experience
