We are looking for an experienced Corporate Attorney. The successful candidate will have minimum of five years legal experience working as in-house counsel, much of it with a focus on corporate contracts, creating entities (US and abroad) and a niche for legal research. This job requires a self-motivated professional with the stamina to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be well organized with business savvy and a gut instinct on determining the appropriate course of action that serves the best interest of the business. This individual reports to the CEO.

Detailed Responsibilities/Requirements:

First and foremost, the General Counsel is responsible for advising the CEO on matters necessary to protect the business from undue liability exposure, litigation risk, and Intellectual Property Protection.

The day-to-day in this position will be heavily focused on all legal responsibilities within the business: MSA's, NDA's, Licensing Agreements, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, Leases, Contracts with Vendors, Creation and Maintenance of Corporate Books and Employment Law (US and abroad).

Understanding of protection of Intellectual Property and how to execute within agreements.

Understanding risk of financial liability with respect to worldwide taxes (VAT, GST, income, etc.) and explain ramifications of contractual language or new business ventures to key stakeholders Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as this position will interface with all levels of the organization, clients and vendors

At least five years' experience creating and executing corporate agreements.

Juris Doctorate at an accredited university.

Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado and a member in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association.

Litigation experience is a plus, but is not required
