Over the past six years Fujitsu has engaged in implementing and maintaining an Enterprise level Geospatial application framework that supports over 30 web enabled business systems/applications running in an on premise IT environment.
As an operational system that supports many critical business functions, the system aka GENESIS is supported by a core team of individuals that provide the full range of skills that are required to ensure that the system is maintained at a high level of performance and reliability.
As part of the core team, the Geospatial Systems Analyst will support and administer the GENESIS ArcGIS Server based platform as well as a number of geospatial web applications utilizing Latitude Geographic’s Geocortex Essentials software. The Geospatial Systems Analyst’s role includes client and user support, system maintenance and administration, troubleshooting when problems occur, and contributing to new innovative solutions.
The Geospatial Systems Analyst will also coordinate application changes made by other developers from development to UAT and production environments in accordance with established change management processes (TFS).
The Geospatial Systems Analyst will also participate in design and development work for the Geocortex platform (HTML5/JavaScript, workflows, etc) and for the ArcGIS Server environment (using python). The Geospatial Systems Analyst is expected to apply their appropriate experience in ArcGIS Server administration, Windows server management, concepts of networking and web server administration, proxy configuration, web security and other related internet technologies as required.
The Geospatial Systems Analyst will report to the senior Geospatial System Architect or other team leads as appropriate. Expectations of this position also include contributing to technical/system documentation deliverables as well as assisting in the technical design process.

While this role includes little to no GIS data management or map creation, familiarity with those concepts and activities is an asset when working with our clients who routinely do these things and sometimes need assistance.
