Today I share my review of The Vagina Monologues.
I wonder how many people will unfriend me on Facebook, or what my mum thinks when she sees this (my mum will be ok my mother in law perhaps not so much... but who knows),
I just hope all women see this play or read this book.
1 in 3 women are sexually abused, saddened and enrages me - but this book is not just about that.
It is about the celebration of women who will now own their vaginas,
who made peace and who are still bewildered by them. Women this is a part of us, there is NO shame in having or loving your Vagina. It is a big part of you. Not a part of you that has been disowned. Shame on those who told us that.
I wish I read this at 18 years old, and then again time is an illusion so
now is the perfect time.
