Everco Releases A/C Repair Kits
Everco Heavy Duty announces the release of 67 air conditioning repair kits for the heavy-duty truck market. According to the company, each kit contains all of the components needed for a complete A/C repair in one box, including a new A/C compressor, filter drier, expansion device, premium oil and all gaskets and O-rings. DriverTech Introduces New Mobile Communications Device
DriverTech, a supplier of mobile, vehicle-mounted computer solutions, introduces the newest DT4000 Rev 7. This DT4000 Rev 7 is the first offering in the market that combines mobile communications, compliant ELD capabilities, and a forward-facing dash cam in a single system priced under $799, according to CEO Mark Haslam. Volvo and Mack Trucks Discontinue Models
Volvo Trucks announced it will no longer be selling its 16-liter D16 engine in the North American market anymore, citing “diminishing demand” as the reason for the cancellation. This also means Volvo’s brother company, Mack Trucks, will no longer be offering its large displacement MP10 engine, which is based on the D16. Mack is also discontinuing sales of its Titan heavy haul tractor as well. Click here for more information.
