Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection 1838 Style White Corn – $100.00
Distiller: Woodford Reserve
This year’s Master’s Collection was designed to honor past distilling pioneers Oscar Crow and James Pepper, by using a recipe that could have been used during their era in the mid 1800’s. This Bourbon could be polarizing, as the white corn that is substituted for the traditional yellow corn, makes this very sweet tasting on the front end of the palate and the grain dominates the nose. Folks will either love or hate this years Master’s Collection, which will make it stand out in the crowd during a Bourbon tasting. If you’re wondering, we love something different, hence approve of this year’s release.
