Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Wedding Cost

After only three months of dating, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting got engaged in 2013 and tied the knot just three months later on Dec. 31, 2013. The couple made their wedding a surprise event, inviting 150 family members and friends for a supposed New Year’s Eve party at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, Calif.

The base cost for a wedding at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch is $28,000. The average food and beverage cost per person is $125. Considering the couple's 150 guests, their wedding likely cost in the ballpark of $48,000 — not including decor, flowers, entertainment, photography or rentals. However, it's no surprise the couple spent far more, considering the bride's dress.

"The Big Bang Theory" actress wore a custom, petal-pink strapless Vera Wang gown to the lavish affair and paired it with a nude tulle veil — also designed by Wang — adorned with petal-pink hand applique Chantilly lace. In addition to an upside-down six-tiered wedding cake hung from a chandelier, they also had a tennis ball-shaped groom’s cake featuring chocolate sculptures of their three dogs.

Days after the ceremony, the bride and groom publically debuted their ring fingers, each adorned with not one but two sparkly bands. Cuoco paired hers with a $985 Dalla Nonna calendar necklace she received as a wedding gift and her 2.5 carat square-cut $65,000 diamond engagement ring.

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Divorce: What Went Wrong

After months of defending their marriage and adamantly denying divorce rumors, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting officially separated on Sept. 3, 2015. They shared the news with the public a few weeks later.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage," said Cuoco's rep in a statement on Sept. 25. "They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

Despite the persistent divorce rumors, the announcement shocked fans, as the couple was known for making frequent declarations of love for one another on social media. One month earlier, Cuoco discussed their future children on “Watch What Happens Live” and they walked the red carpet arm-in-arm at an Aug. 22 event in Culver City, Calif.

The duo has been quiet on the exact reason for their demise, but sources close to them have revealed that an injury caused the tennis pro to become addicted to painkillers. Cuoco allegedly reached her breaking point when his attitude changed after becoming injured and he refused to get sober. It was not long ago, in fact, that Sweeting went missing for four days after leaving a rehab facility.

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Divorce: What’s at Stake?

California is a community property state, meaning all assets acquired by each person during the marriage is fair game during a divorce. However, Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting signed a prenuptial agreement on Nov. 20, 2013, though the terms have not been made public.

Regardless, Sweeting has asked for spousal support from Cuoco, who tied with Sofia Vergara as Forbes’ highest-paid TV actress of 2015 with $28.5 million in earnings. Sweeting has also requested she pay his legal fees, a cost they had agreed to pay separately in their prenup.

Two major assets at stake in their divorce is money made off a Sherman Oaks, Calif., home they lived in at the very beginning of their relationship, and a Tarzana, Calif., home they purchased after getting married. Cuoco bought the 5,233 sq. ft. house in November 2010 for $2.40 million and sold it in May 2014 for $2.57 million. Later that year, the couple purchased an 8,000 sq. ft., $5.49 million Tarzana mansion previously owned by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom.
