AHSEC, the council has updated and Assam HS result will be published at 10am at www.resultsassam.nic.in OR www.ahsec.nic.in OR www.examresults.net for class 12 students.
AHSEC result and Assam HS result 2016 are officially going to be announced today. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) informed that HS results declaration press event will take place at board’s Guwahati office where Chairman, N M Hussain is expected to release the results.
Making the announcement, Assam board notified that it will publish Assam class 12th results 2016 at 10 am on the morning of 2nd June, Thursday.
Assam HS result will be placed online at ahsec.nic.in. The official notification states that “HS Final Year Exam Results 2016 will be available on 02/06/2016 at 10 AM.” Unlike other boards, class 12 results in Assam are being announced at the same time for all three streams of Arts, Science and Commerce.
In 2016, 2.54 lakh students took the higher secondary examinations which were held between 15th February to 14th March apart from re-exams which were conducted on 17th March and 19th March due to paper leak case of Physics and Biology subjects. The board already released the results for HSLC exams two days ago and today, the class 12 results will be out. The board has also witnessed a downfall in the number of students appearing in HS examinations this year compared to 2.75 lakh of last year. The situation is unclear on the why here.
There had been several speculations till this day regarding the date of HSSLC results in the state, however, the board put an end to all that by finally placing the notice at official portal online. These past weeks have been somewhat crucial to those lakhs of students and families since Higher secondary results are arguably the most vital part in the road to college education.
The passing percentage recorded in 2015 for Assam board examinations was over 60 percent, proving out much lower than nearly half of the states in India and that goes side by side with Assam’s literacy rate at 73.18 percent, ranked at 26th place. It really doesn’t come as a surprise since education in North-Indian states is still a challenge for central government. Last month, we reported that dropout rates in schools are the highest in North-eastern states in the country. SEBA and AHSEC are continuously trying best to improvise the schooling education in the state and the track record of next few years will show what the real chances at that. The board to announce Assam HS result 2016 is AHSEC, while SEBA regulates HSLC exams.
As stated above, SEBA HS result 2016/ SEBA 12th result will be displayed at ahsec.nic.in and students will be required to enter their roll number to check marks. The marks sheet will be displayed online only for now and original will be distributed in schools after a week. But for now, students have to take printout of the result marks online and use it for admission purposes.
The easiest way to check Assam class 12 results is getting access to internet service and visit official site www.ahsec.nic.in. However, if that’s not possible, you can also receive your marks via sms and e-mail. There is also a real possibility that the official site may face downtime at the time of result publication as lakhs of students and colleagues will try to check it at once. If this happens, you can check results at examresults.net, the partner site.
