Announcing the latest version of Paperless Proposal with the ability to integrate with analytics and marketing automation packages, a new and improved table of contents design, and the ability to set the currency symbol on the manage, home, and create pages. The real focus of this release was stability, polish and security with a large list of refinements.Please keep an eye out for these new features as they will start becoming available in your account shortly.
Analytics and Marketing Automation Integration
We now have the ability to place any analytics or marketing automation JavaScript snippits right into the viewer. This is available in Admin under Company Setup, Configuration. Please contact support@paperlessproposal.com for assistance if you would like to take advantage of this as it is critical it is done right so it does not impact your viewer experience.
Now your analytics and automation packages can not only track visitors across your website in the lead acquisition stage, but also through the eBrochure and proposal process.
Table of Contents Redesign
We heard from many of you that some recipients did not know that a file in a proposal had multiple pages, it was not clear enough what file you were on and sections did not stand out enough. Our design team worked on a beautiful and informative new design that shows the number of pages in a file, current position in a file, and many other design improvements.
Notice that now all files show their total number of pages, sections stand out in a darker grey, the current file shows not only total pages, but the current page within the file, and long names that go to multiple lines now stay together. Also the current file stands out in a much brighter color.
International Currencies
You can now set the currency for your company and it will reflect on the home page, the manage page as well as the client info page. You can find this setting under Admin->Company Setup->Locale.
Latest Release Notes Available Upon Login
In case you ever miss an email like this you can now view the latest release notes right on the login page.
Fully Secure User Experience
Your security is one of our top priorities, and we try to balance a seamless user experience. We keep your connection to Paperless Proposal encrypted over https at all times. We also understand that sometimes you would like to deliver insecure webpages like some sales and product websites within the proposal viewing experience.
If you add an insecure webpage to your proposal (http) you will not be able to view it in the viewer while logged into the system unless you click a button to open the webpage in a new tab. This is to keep the system fully secure while you are logged in. If you add an insecure webpage to your proposal it will be delivered unencrypted over a normal connection as are most all websites to ensure a seamless viewer experience.
If you do not add websites or add https websites even your viewers experience will be encrypted over https. Either way we have ensured a seamless experience for your viewers.
Other Improvements
Salesforce and NetSuite load times have been improved
Table of Contents document has been refined so having a section heading at the bottom of a page alone has been addressed and will go to the next page
The first contact pushed in via the API will be flagged as primary
Changed maps from Yahoo Maps to Bing Maps when you click on an IP address in stats
Reset password will now inform you if you entered an invalid email address
Adding two webpages in a row now clears the name and url boxes
Issues Resolved
Webpages can now be the first page in a proposal
Mixed mode warnings in IE have been resolved
Pagination of large documents will no longer stall at the progress bar
Autosave no longer freezes up the screen for a couple of seconds
Multiple consecutive generation of a TOC or other documents can no longer cause duplicate pages
Times on individual view pages in stats now reflect the reps timezone
Local edit now only allows uploading of one document not multiple
Double clicking on the revenue cell on the manage page now allows you to add in cents
Multiple consistency improvements in the admin sections
Duplicate users can no longer be added which would prevent the user from logging in
Fixed an issue where if you uploaded a document then immediately after uploaded an attachment the attachment would not be correct
IE8 and IE9 upload issues resolved
When using the API integration and searching for an opportunity on the client info screen when the search contained a single quote an error occurred. This has been resolved.
Some buttons were not disabled that should have been on the proposal files screen when a file from the library was selected
Approval now works well in IE8
