Ohio Public Libraries are the best in the nation and help transform lives.  The statistics are amazing! Ohio has more than 8.7 million cardholders who visit libraries more than 77 million times a year. Libraries also play an important role in ongoing education by offering literacy programs and homework help centers. Libraries help Ohioans apply and obtain jobs and offer the self-employed and entrepreneurs resources to become more successful.  Libraries also empower patrons through life-long learning opportunities and programming for all ages, and provide each community with a place to gather and participate in activities.

Learn how the State of Ohio plans on cutting funding for all public libraries in 2017 and how this will affect library services throughout the State. Did you know that library funding is the same today as it was in 1996? Please help us by telephoning or emailing our elected officials and let them know how you feel. Tell them how vital libraries are to you, your family, your community.
