A cyclist police want to speak to in connection with an assault on a man near Stroud, is the latest to be added to Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Caught on Camera online gallery.

At around 11.30am on Sunday 10 July, a man was running along the canal towpath just west of Knapp Lane in Brimscombe when a cyclist attempted to ride past him, but fell off his bike. The runner said the cyclist pushed him to the ground, held him down and threatened him before riding off towards Stroud.

This case is just one of 12 featured in the latest batch of images at https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/news-room/caught-on-camera. Anyone who recognises a person in any of the images can report it quickly and easily via a special button on the page.

Amongst the other cases, police want to speak to people in connection with the theft of a purse from a dental surgery in Stroud, the theft of a mountain bike from St Oswalds retail park in Gloucester and the theft of electrical equipment from a school in Cheltenham.
