This morning I am sharing my project for Challenge #7 at the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog! Remember, you have two weeks to play in the new challenge! Challenge #7 closes May 18th at midnight PT.

Challenge #7 Ribbon, Lace, and Twine, Oh My!

Show us your fiber side! Use ribbon, lace or twine on your project. Dig into your hoard and share how creative you can be with fibers! You may use ribbon, lace, twine, embroidery floss, string, yarn, fabric, etc. As long as you have something in the "ribbon" family on your project, you are good to go!

I am addicted to ribbon, twine, lace, and fibers of all types. I have oodles and oodles of ribbon and twine. And what did I purchase for myself a few weeks ago....two huge balls of twine! How can you pass up 150 yards of twine for a few dollars. Especially when your best friends are all buying some and want to swap colors?!?

Anyway, here is my project for Challenge #7. The sponsors this month are Really Reasonable Ribbon and Sin City Stamps. I had such fun using their products!

I created a "giant" tag. This guy is 8 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches. I started out with a large tag from one of the Prima tag pads (the tags that go with the Julie Nutting doll stamps).  I layered it up with paper and then a layer of cardstock on the back. Oh, yeah, layers, baby!

I also had two new pads of Prima papers to use. My local store had some of the "A4" pads, so I snagged them! Just adding to the hoard, people!

I wrapped the tag with some of the yellow ribbon and then made a bow with some of the gray checked ribbon. The ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon April Ribbon Club. I had some flowers in my stash in the same gray and yellow. I think the gray flowers are from Prima, and the yellow are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The clock stamp is from Sin City Stamps. Isn't it amazing?! I stamped with black pigment ink onto one of the Prima tags, and then embossed with a black metallic embossing powder.

I used some Spellbinders die templates to cut out the clock image and then I cut some "cogs" from gray cardstock. I wanted to go feminine Steampunk with this tag. I added some metal cogs, a key, and a tiny light bulb.

I stamped the dress form shape (Sin City Stamps) with gray ink, and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I smudged the image with yellow ink, then I fussy cut the image. I added a yellow bow and more flowers to the top of the tag. I also have a metal cog and a Prima ceiling bulb peeking out.

The flourish laser die cuts I used are also from Sin City Stamps. They were orange when I started out, but I sprayed them with glimmer mist, and....ta da! The sentiment stamp is also from Sin City.

This is one awesome tag! I think it would be fun to make two more, and then attach them to a canvas or something. Hmmmm...think...think...think...
