Welcome to ANOTHER Graphic 45 The Twelve Days of Christmas Extravaganza!

I created a 12x12 box of cards, filled with twelve cards! Each card contains a stamped image from the Graphic 45 The Twelve Days of Christmas stamp set, and each set of three cards showcases a different technique! This project was taught by Graphic 45 at various workshops and trade shows. Now, it is available for you, complete with printable project sheets!

For the next two days I will share the cards from the set (click HERE for Day 2). Then, on December 16th I will share the card box - click HERE. But, that is not all. I will be giving away this prize pack to one lucky winner!! This prze pack is worth OVER $100 Retail. And it contains all three of my - hard to find - wood mount Christmas stamps!

Leave a comment on any one of the posts from December 14th through December 20th (I will have some EXTRA G45 projects to share the rest of the week!), and I will draw a RANDOM winner for this prize. Leave a comment EVERY day to increase your chances! What a fantastic Christmas present for yourself!

My assignment for this card set was to: use Graphic 45 papers as each card base, use The Twelve Days of Christmas stamp set, and incorporate a different technique into each set of three cards. Oh, yes, and to keep the retail cost below $50! Easy, right?! {grin}

Now, on to...A Partridge in a Pear Tree, Two Turtle Doves, and Three French Hens.

It was very difficult for me to NOT use cardstock! In fact, G45 can tell you I "kicked up a fuss" over it. But in the end, I did what they asked and used only Graphic 45 paper packs. I used the 12x12 paper pad and the 6x6 paper pad for the set.

The technique for this card trio was: masking, double-stamping, and fussy cutting stamped images. You can see that I stamped the focal image onto the cardstock circles, and then stamped the image again in a second ink color. I fussy cut the second image and popped it off the main image with foam tape.

I wanted this set of cards to be in a "vintage grunge" style. I wanted the students to have a chance to play with the papers an get inky and messy!

Now, on to...Four Calling Birds, Five Golden Rings, Six Geese a-Laying.

The technique for this set of three cards was fussy cutting images from Graphic 45 paper, layering, and creating dimension with paper. On the Calling Birds card I created a dimensional banner (the template is available on the printable project sheet).

For the Golden Rings card, I repeated the technique from my first set of 12 Days cards, and fussy cut the gold rings. I also added "real" ribbon to the ring.

Everyone loves the goose! So I fussy cut her once again! We add more dimension with the banners at the top of the card.

Come back tomorrow for the next six cards in the set!
