In 1988, Clint started singing as a boy soprano in the Drakensberg Boys' Choir School in South Africa. Soon after he had started a BMus degree at the university of Pretoria in 1996 during which he was offered an International Scholarship to spend a year at Eton College. During this year Clint was offered a Queen Elizabeth,the Queen Mother Scholarship to study a BMus degree course at the RCM.

Clint has sung much of Bach's music and has worked as soloist on both the St Matthew Passion and St John Passion under the direction of Peter Schreier. He has also on two occasions appeared as soloist with the Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment singing Bach's Mass in b Minor.

At the end of 1998 he was awarded first prize of the Cathleen Fernier Bursary for Young Singers. For the past three years Clint, as a countertenor, was offered the lead role in the London Handel Festival's productions of Handel's Lotario (1999), Ottone (2000) and Flavio (2001). Clint currently studies with Ashley Stafford.
