CALGARY – Police say the death of a man back in May that was originally thought to be caused by drugs is now considered a homicide.
Sardar Atiq Khan, 41, was found dead inside his home in the 0-100 block of Martindale Drive N.E. around 6:15 a.m. on Friday, May 30th, 2014.
His death was initially believed to be from a drug overdose; however, on Tuesday police confirmed he was the victim of a homicide.
The Homicide Unit is investigating and detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may have information about this case, including Khan’s whereabouts in the days leading up to his death.
