Nollywood actress, Faithia has finally dropped her ex-hubby’s name, Balogun for her maiden’s name, Williams.

With the latest development, it seems Faithia has decided to have a change of mind for her to modify her surname from Balogun to Williams.

Those who are her friends on the popular social media Black Berry Messenger informed us that the change has been effected.

Also, on her Instagram page, the beautiful lady made sure that her new identity is well represented. But her twitter account still bears Balogun, we reliably gathered.

There was speculation last year that actor Saidi Balogun dragged his ex- wife Faithia to court for refusing to change her name; this was vehemently denied by the great actor who stated that he did not do a thing like that. Before his denial could settle down, Faithia’s media representative released a press statement, saying that the actor was being economical with the truth; the representative, however, concluded that the actress is in no way joining issues with the actor.

The latest happening has clearly shown that the story can’t be the same again with the new decision Faithia took to revert to her father’s name.

Despite glaring fact that became so visible that the two erstwhile lovers have moved far away from each other, not a few are still hopeful that the once loving couple would bury their differences and live together again as husband and wife.

Many a time influential people have tried to settle the two but whenever this comes up, it always meets a brick wall. But, this has not deterred people from hoping that the relationship will flourish again.

The actress is dropping her former husband Saheed Balogun’s surname because both of them have separated for many years due to what they termed as irreconcilable differences. Meanwhile, the union was blessed with two kids.

Sexy and beautiful Faithia was born on February 5, 1969 in Ukwara, Water Side Local Government area of Delta State, Nigeria. Due to Faithia’s background, she is multilingual (speaks different languages such as Urhobo, English, Yoruba etc). Her ability to speak different languages has helped her to feature in many of the Nigerian home videos.

She started her early education at Olufunmilola Nursery School, Ikeja, Lagos.
