It’s wedding bells for Glee star Becca Tobin!
The 30-year-old actress is engaged to her boyfriend, entrepreneur Zach Martin, she announced on her LadyGang podcast with co-hosts Jac Vanekand The Insider’s Keltie Knight on Tuesday.
“I got engaged!” Tobin said on her podcast. “Every single person thought I was kidding. I thought he was kidding when he had the ring in front of my face.”
The actress expressed her dislike of cheesy proposals and corny social media posts, saying, “You’ll never see a post where I say ‘I’m so lucky to marry my best friend,’ any of that garbage. It makes my stomach turn. We don’t have an extravagant story. I told him I’d castrate him if he did anything crazy. I really didn’t want a thing so it was really perfect for me.”
Tobin and the Atlanta-based Martin met through mutual friends.
The cute couple have chronicled their romance with adorable snaps on Instagram over the past several months, with Tobin most recently sharing a pic on Monday of the two in shades while catching the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta over the weekend.
Just last week, Martin appeared as a guest on Tobin’s podcast for an episode titled “Think Like a Man,” which focused entirely on understanding how a man’s brain works when it comes to dating.
When asked what it was like to date Tobin, Martin adorably responded, “It’s really good.”
