I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas last week! I actually took a week vacation to see my family and friends but it ended up being the worst vacation ever! We just arrived back home yesterday. The day after arriving on vacation my two kids all the sudden started vomiting, so I asked my cousin who we last were with at church if her kids were sick. She said no but she had been throwing up. Then 1 by 1 we found out that our family from the Christmas party the night before were throwing up. At this point there was about 15 of the 40 something, so we figured it was food poising. Until I got sick on Monday night. I actually had to call the ambulance because my entire body suddenly felt numb, heavy and tingly and my hands started to create a fist that got tighter and tighter and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t open my hands. It was so scary and unlike anything I had ever felt. Apparently my carbon monoxide levels were low :/Anyways, since I hadn’t eaten ANY of the food at the party the food poisoning theory went out the window. The count continued to go up and by day 2 over 30 something people had been hit with this unknown mystery. At this point very few people were left who hadn’t been hit by this, one being my husband. He got hit with it on Christmas Eve and probably got hit the worst. His lasted until Christmas evening. We later found out we all got the noravirus. Needless to say our vacation was a bust and I couldn’t be happier to be home now! I will be back to regularly posting again now that the family and I are feeling much better.
For todays post I am sharing a very casual and comfortable look. Some days there is nothing better than a white tee and jeans.
