One name comes to mind when envisioning a home with an elegant-yet-intimate setting and an ambience of modern comfort and harmony – Armani/Casa.

So for those building or redecorating, the Armani Group is pleased to announce the collaboration between Armani/Casa and Jannelli&Volpi, a leading Italian company in the furnishings sector. They proudly bring you the Armani/Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection – its first collection of wallpaper that will make its debut at the Fuorisalone in Milan at both the Armani/Casa store and the Jannelli&Volpi showroom.

The exquisite collection, produced through modern digital printing techniques, offers a plethora of wall covering options, featuring designs with oriental influences and inspired by nature and stones, giving a sombre yet sophisticated allure to its elegantly modern, decorative signature.

The Macbeth wall coverings are an ode to nature with its use of flaming silk fabric. In the Aida series, the design is rendered in a silk textile pattern. The Nabucco and Tosca series on the other hand, display delicate veining of rare marble, along with an iridescent effect on warped silk and lurex. Shell-like fans are geometrically arranged on a fabric made of metallic wires and natural fibres in Oberon, while the Faust wall covering features shell textures and micro-geometrics on silk and lurex. The colour palette of the collection ranges from brown, warm beige and grey, to blue, metallic grey and lime green.

Wallpaper is also used to add a uniquely chic detail to several furniture pieces in the collection including screens, storage units, bar cabinets, dining tables, lamps and desks. What used to be just stocky pieces of furniture are now transformed into precious décor. Key pieces include the Riesling bar cabinet, the Trocadero dining table, the Halley glass pendant lamp and Hyades table lamp.

The partnership between Armani/Casa and Rubelli also continues for the Armani/Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli collection, inspired by ancient weaving techniques. It looms together a special blend of yarns, lurex, metallic threads, linen and silk – creating two-dimensional tactile textures. The curtain range is enhanced by the use of traditional embroidery techniques on luxe fubrics such as silk, organza and taffeta.

With Armani/Casa, the fusion of design with craftsmanship and domestic architecture is made possible, and home interiors can now be both traditional and avant-garde.
