Magicbricks.com, which is also India’s largest property site, has launched India’s first Real Estate Experience Center at Magicbricks Western Express Highway metro station in Mumbai. The Experience centre offers a never before experience to prospective home buyers, bringing an immersive, virtual reality and research based property selection tool under one roof. This centre is located at concourse 3 at the recently inaugurated Magicbricks Western Express Highway Metro station at Andheri.

Real Estate Experiential Centre in Mumbai is equipped with state of the art technology and solid content. The initiative aims to make the property buying experience more involving and save the customers the trouble of travelling to real locations to see and experience what they feel like in reality.

The Experience Center tries to bridge the gap between online and offline worlds by employing latest technologies Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, on-demand Video-call and large format touchscreens. By bringing in various components of property research under one roof, Magicbricks is creating proposition to address the home buying problems that most of us go through.

The Experience Centre will cut down the time spent by a homebuyer in researching properties drastically. Typically a buyer may take over 6 months before finalizing the property of his choice. The research is generally focused on mitigating risks such as locality risks, project risks, and developer credibility risks.

As a unique proposition to solve this problem, Magicbricks is exposing Its database created over eight years. Using the new Experience Centre, a home buyer can now know all about a locality, research the track record of a developer and other details using the “Match My Needs” application.

The Western Express Highway Metro station receives 3lakh commuters every day and Magicbricks plans to tap into the home needs of these commuters. The location of the metro station is strategic as offices of leading corporates such as HUL, P&G as well as several corporate parks are in close proximity.

The Experience centre is divided in 6 distinct components allowing a buyer to perform a wide range of tasks. The prospective buyers at the Magicbricks Experience Centre do the following things and more using the hi-tech tools available at the venue

Browsing property listings

Use various financial calculators

Compare different properties

Virtually speaking to a Magicbricks advisor

Take a virtual reality walk through the project they are interested in

Interact with touchscreen based map searches

Here’s how Virtual and Augmented reality contribute in making the experience more informative and involving for the users

Virtual Reality:

The virtual reality solutions allow a home buyer to move around in the apartment he wants to buy even when the flat is under construction. This helps him firm up his decision on whether or not to buy a flat in any given property.

Augmented Reality:

The augmented reality solutions allow a home buyer to take an aerial view of the entire society. He can figure out where exactly his apartment is in the entire society, how far it is from the main entrance of the society, check out the open spaces, take stock of the inter tower spaces and check out the green areas etc

Inaugurating the Experience Centre Mr. Sudhir Pal, CEO, Magicbricks.com, said “The experience centre is a coming together of high quality hardware and software that addresses very specific ‘issues’ in the consumers’ property journey. We’re absolutely delighted by the early feedback we’ve received from consumers, and from developers, who have visited our Experience Centre. We aren’t happy with merely being India’s leading property portal, we want to be India’s most loved property portal as well”.

Famous Realtor Niranjan Hiranandani was also present at the event and he threw light on the changing dynamics of the Real Estate industry in India.
