Bean Box includes four 1.8 oz. bags of whole bean coffee. This is approximately 16+ cups of coffee depending on your brewing method and strength preferences. It’s shipped fresh within 1 day of roasting, and include special touches, like delicious artisan chocolates.

January’s box feature Winter Roasts that are smooth, dark, and cozy.

Broadcast Coffee Roasters Guatemala La Hermosa

Starts with a silky milk chocolate roundness enveloped in honeysuckle, which deepens as strawberry jam overcomes everything else before settling into an almond past butter croissant finish.

Tin Umbrella Coffee Roasters Hillman City Global Blend

A global blend that blends a bean from each coffee-producing continent: Sumatra, Brazil, Nicaragua, Ethiopia. Milk chocolate, sugar cane, spiced raisin and sweet fruit.

Keala’s Hawaiian Coffee Hapuna Espresso Blend

Beans from Kona, Africa, and Indonesia create a classic Seattle dark roast. A gulping thick body reminiscent of maple syrup with a simple sweet citrus finish.

Ladro Roasting Nicaragua Perla Negra

A limited edition black honey coffee from Nicaragua (direct trade; 1200m). Honey dew, brioche, and caramel notes.

These coffees all sound so good, I don’t know which one to try first! The value is very good considering you get to sample 4 different artisan roasters. You’ll notice that when you get your coffee the bags are puffy. When coffee beans are roasted, they begin to give off carbon dioxide (CO2). This is one of the ways fresh coffee keeps out air and moisture, both of which make the bean age faster. When you open one of the sealed, puffy bags, the gas that comes out is the CO2 the freshly roasted beans give off. It’s normal, and a really good thing, as it helps keep your beans fresh!

Bean Box is hosting a giveaway until Jan. 27th for a Free AeroPress & One Month Subscription of Bean Box! To enter just visit them HERE.
