After leaking this first here on the blog, I was super-bummed that I couldn’t attend the Creamfields press conference last Friday, but, better late than never, right?

Line-Up

Richie Hawtin

I adore this man, I have seen him live 3 times on 2 continents and it’s been epic every time. He’s undoubtedly my favorite Techno producer, with the DJs signed to his M_nus Label being my second favorite =P.

Steve Angello

This is for all you Sky Bar people who probably know the Swedish House Mafia’s hits by heart by now. Steve Angello is one-third of the SHM and since they split up (thankfully), he’s back doing his own thing we used to love about him, with of course the highlights of his SHM days.

Seth Troxler

This Detroit kid reminds us that there are some good US producers who understand electronic dance music’s many flavors. To be completely honest, Seth Troxler’s set is the one I’m personally looking forward to most. I love this man’s work and how versatile it could be, going into deep house, even techno and minimal, and always producing beautiful tracks.

Loco Dice

A German with Tunisian parents that owned the Hip Hop scene then moved into the minimal one, and: wow.

Maceo Plex

Some producers take you on a trip with their music. Maceo Plex’s is an intense, deep and dark one with sounds that give you goosebumps and make your head numb. He’s also well-known for his mastery of  Nu-disco, so you can expect something epic from this man.

Aly & Fila

These Egyptian mega-stars headline the biggest Trance events in the world for years now. Their originals are sublime, but it’s their remixes people go wild for. They are to Trance, what Zeds Dead did to Paradise Circus (if you know what I mean). Super stoked to see these guys again!

Big Al

A resident at b018 for many years, Big Al has focused on getting his music to next level globally, with labels, radio shows and records all over the globe and collaborations with many amazing local and international talents, makes Big Al arguably the most prolific Lebanese talent in the underground world of House music.

Raxon

The Emirati master of house and tech is now a resident at one of the world’s Top 100 clubs: 360 degrees. I saw him live once in Dubai, and I must say, the unpredictable melange of tracks is what made me adore him. Glad he’s coming to Beirut!

Jade

Jade is the man behind The Basement and C U NXT SAT. So, obviously, he needs no introduction on this blog! Jade is who set the trends in underground electronic music scene in Beirut. He’s one of the first to ever start it in Beirut, and he’s still at the top of his game today!

maDJam

Moody also needs no introduction. I’m just hoping he’ll introduce me to his other DJ friends on the lineup =P

Gunther & Stamina

B018 wouldn’t be b018 without these two. Their already awesome status skyrocketed even further when they teamed up with Big Al to create audiolab, featured on this blog earlier this year!

Ronin & Nesta

Since 2006, the CDs in my cars have always been sets by these two good friends. I might be biased by now, but every time I’m at an event recently and it’s getting late, folks tell me “we’re waiting for Ronin and Nesta’s set” and I’m like “phew, not the only one =P” Nesta is upping his game in London now, but will be flying in for Creamfields, so, mini-homecoming?

Phil

Phil has become a staple of the underground house scene as well, with residencies at MixFM and Uberhaus, you know this man’s sets will delight all you House connoisseurs out there.

Kitchen Crowd

This Jordanian knows Beirut well, but hasn’t been in years if memory serves me right. With a new pseudonym and equally cool sets, I can’t wait to see him live again.

+More TBA

If you’re an EDM fan, you’ll find at least a handful of DJs and producers you adore. From House and its different subgenres, to Techno, Minimal and Trance. I thought it couldn’t get any better with the lineups the party crews are putting out for us every week, but boy was I wrong. Creamfields Beirut is going to epic, and I am extending my Beirut stay for a few extra weeks just to make sure I’m there for the first ever Creamfields in Beirut!

From what I heard, the stages will be split into the moods of each lineup, with one stage for the underground scene, another for the more mainstream one, and the middle one with the mega-acts in the lineup (that’s not confirmed of course, only hearsay I picked up on.)

I love the mix between awesome regional and international talents. I adore Hawtin and Troxler, Maceo Plex and Aly and Fila, and the regional and local acts are all long-time friends and favorites. Heck, if I could do a lineup myself, it’d be very close to this one (I’d probably have added a dubstep act… I know, don’t kill me!)

Buy your cheaper earlybird tickets here at Presella (just 50USD regular for the 20 acts and 14 hours of nonstop beautiful music). RSVP here to the Facebook event.

I can’t fucking wait!

See You all on September 7th!
