We actively trade in a broad spectrum of asset classes that include Equities, Interest Rates, and Commodities on exchanges across the globe. Software development cycles at company are short and releases of proprietary software are frequent. This is a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Software engineers will quickly see the results of their work and the impact that work has on our businesses.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to work with a Trading Service Group. The group is responsible for delivering mission critical applications used for Trading and Risk Management. The team works very closely with traders, risk management, financial engineering, platform services, and operations. The systems employ Java, C++, Python, and web technologies across a heterogeneous distributed environment.
Responsibilities:
-The Software Engineer will design and develop software components and frameworks.
-The Software Engineer will deliver and support software into the production environment in a timely and robust manner.
-The Software Engineer will collaborate with Financial Engineers and developers on other teams.
-The Software Engineer will partner with support teams to ensure that the software is easy to manage in a production environment.
-The Software Engineer will assist in developing requirements and propose solutions.
-The Software Engineer is responsible for ongoing performance analysis and tuning.
