#NSALE. That’s the hashtag Nordstrom uses — and we’re all welcome to use — for the Anniversary Sale. The sale kicks off every mid-July and this year it begins tomorrow, Jul 14.
Visit Nordstrom.com to look at the catalog online. The website is usually taken down for a number of hours before the sale launches, so this is the last opportunity to check it out.
The first week of the sale is open to cardholders only. Personally, I have had the Nordstrom debit card for a number of years and love it. Apply here. Whether you have a Nordstrom debit card or Nordstrom credit card, you earn points on purchases. I like the fact that you can earn triple points. There are specific days when all cardholders earn triple points. Plus, you have one or two days/year that you can choose to earn triple points. Y’know, in case you want to upgrade your B.P. rhinestone crossover ring ($12, I have one) for a Bony Levy diamond crossover ring ($1095+, don’t have one). That’s a day you’d choose for a triple point day.
If you have a Nordstrom near you, you can use your card in the cafés and restaurants, earning poitns even faster. The reward is called a Nordstrom Note. They mail them to you as soon as they’re earned; not quarterly. And Notes that have been issued show up automatically for use at checkout once you’re logged into the site under your profile.

I would love to have a suede, heeled OTK (over-the-knee) boot. OTKs are not an easy trend when you’re shorter, but it can be done.
I like the idea of taking culottes and wide leg pants into fall. It’s good to keep shirt and sweater proportions more slim on top, unless your frame can support all of the volume. Love the long vest look. I don’t wear nearly enough dresses as I own and I’ve already been saving looks like this one to layer them in fall. I’m on a quest for the perfect vegan leather or real leather moto jacket. I’ll know it when I find it. It looks there are multiple options in the #NSALE.
Do you know that I still don’t own any Tory Burch? I love the quilted bag below. I look at the line regularly, but I still haven’t purchased anything besides sunglasses. It’s a bit hard to tear away from my beloved Kate Spade in the handbag department. I’ll be keeping my eye out for Kate Spade jewelry specials, in particular. They usually have one or two during this sale.
