The National Candle Association (NCA) elected its officers and Board of Directors for the upcoming year during its members meeting June 2-6, 2014, in Louisville, KY, in conjunction with the Association’s Annual Conference & Expo.
Nancy J. Sedlar of S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. will serve as the Association’s President for the 2014-2015 term. Rick Langley, Langley/Empire Candle LLC will serve as Vice President and President-elect. Bob Nelson of Yankee Candle Company, Inc. will serve as 1st Vice President, and Kathy LaVanier, Renegade Candles, will serve as 2nd Vice President. Rex Mason, Root Candles, was named Treasurer.
In all, NCA’s Board of Directors for 2014-2015 consists of individuals representing the following NCA member companies, all of which are either North American candle manufacturers or suppliers to the candle industry:
Alene Candles Inc.; Candle Artisans, Inc.; Cathedral Candle Company; Fragrance West; Langley/Empire Candle LLC; Lumi-Lite Candle Company; The Procter & Gamble Company; Renegade Candles; Root Candles; Sasol Wax North America Corp.; S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc.; and Yankee Candle Company, Inc.
