GhLink: Who is Narsh Smith?

Narsh:I’m a Ghanaian-American. I was born in the USA and live here. I am the second born of four kids. I also have a child of my own. I love reading and traveling, acting, music and martial arts!
GhLink: How did it all start for you as an actor?
Narsh: My first time acting was in plays for St. christophers church in Maryland at the age of 9. My first African movie was in 2009 "My ghana Angel" aka" the Diary" with Nadia Buari
GhLink: How do you deal with your female admirers in the movie industry?
Narsh: Its been a big challenge but I just remain humble in all of it by just reminding my self this is all a beautiful gift and i try not to let there messages and admiration go to my head :)
GhLink: What do you find attractive in a woman?
Narsh: I find confident women attractive, women who are very comfortable with who they are is an instant turn on for me!
GhLink: Which female Celebrity do you have a crush on ?
Narsh: I would say it changes but recently I have had a little crush on Lupita Nyong from 12 years a slave.
GhLink:How are you coping with stardom?
Narsh:The stardom is a day to day thing some times i forget and when i step out of the house or go to public places fans want pics and i am still shocked by it. I still feel im only in the begin of my career and have much more to offer. So in other words i take it day by day and remain humble.
GhLink:On a scale of 20, how would you rate Ghanaian movies now?
Narsh: On the scale of 20, I would rate the Ghana film industry as a 12 because we still lack diversity in story lines and in actors but it will come with time.
GhLink:The worst rumour you heard about yourself?
Narsh:Well I do not worry about rumors for they are only that rumors,but i would say the one I found funny was that i am a teenager lying about my age to get leading male roles! Im a grown man lol.
GhLink:What’s your major philosophy of Life?
Narsh: My philosophy about life is treat others the way you wan to be treated .
GhLink: Apart from Movies, are you working on any other projects or anything your fans should expect from you anytime soon?
Narsh: They should expect some great films and commercials to come I just came back from filming in South Africa and I cannot say too much but there are some amazing things coming from TeamNarsh.
GhLink: There are a lot of young ones out there looking to go into acting, any message for such individuals and what do you want to tell your fans at large?
Narsh: The one thing that has helped me and I would say to the fans out there is always believe in yourself!
