After the announcement of M.I and Naeto C as this year’s Hennessy Artistry headliners on Friday, July 20, 2012, the dynamic duo have hit the studio this week to close off on the Hennessy Artistry 2012 theme track, that they have been collaborating on in the past few weeks.

Aside from blending top musicians with various styles and personalities, Hennessy Artistry looks also to give the spotlight to rising acts. In 2012, Hennessy Artistry will give the stage to rising artistes during a 22-venue Club Tour in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

Hennessy Artistry is reaching out to fans and music lovers to have their say and choose the rising artistes that will feature on the Club Tour, to thrill fun lovers at the cognac house’s club nights. Fans can vote for their favourite up and coming artistes via www.facebook.com and decide on who they will like to see alongside M.I and Naeto C on this year’s Hennessy Artistry train.

Hennessy consumers will be treated to close-up VIP sessions with the stars around the VIP events, and details of this competition will be released soon.

Since Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007, Hennessy Cognac has maintained its position as Nigeria’s and the world’s leading cognac brand. Hennessy Artistry in the meantime has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a DJ battle, and now is an important platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes. Ice Prince, Nneka, Sir Shina Peters, Banky W, Eldee, Tiwa Savage and Mo’Cheddah have worked with Hennessy Artistry over the years. Other artistes include Bez, Kas and Jesse Jagz.
