HP hasn’t made a move on the smartphones market after the Palm failure.

Recently we’ve seen Android tablets from HP however nothing on the smartphones market. But, we now have new details about a smartphone that will come from HP.

A new leak from Phone Arena brings us a photo and possible technical specifications. The photo might be fake however we also see an Antutu screenshot that reveals some of the tech specs and name of the device, which is Brave.

If the rumor comes true, we’re going to get a HP smartphone with a minimal design, powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor at 2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU.

The HP Brave will pack 2 GB of RAM memory and a display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. It seems that the HP Brave will run on Android 4.2. The back camera packs a 14.5 MP sensor while the frontal camera will pack a 5 MP sensor.

So far these are the only details we have and we don’t have any solid evidence to suggest that these rumors are true. From the photo and tech specs we can reach the conclusion that the HP Brave will be a pretty advanced smartphone.

All we can do is hope that it will also have an affordable price.
