We are recruiting for talented inside sales / business development professionals to join our EMEA Sales Organization in this newly created position. We are only considering candidates to work out of our London office. Only qualified applicants with work authorization in the UK will be considered.

A sales prospecting role with a primary emphasis on increasing the volume of qualified leads for a specified business region. Through efficient, effective prospecting activities, this role will identify and qualify prospective clients supported by our learning solutions in the practice areas of Leadership Development and Sales Effectiveness. Sales professionals in this role may build and maintain a limited portfolio and may be responsible for meeting an annual revenue target. The emphasis of this role is to prospect new business opportunities and augment the efforts of our seasoned sales force.

Responsibilities

Identify new revenue opportunities through prospecting activities, including researching significant events in target industries, targeting clients with demonstrated business needs, awakening dormant client accounts, and scheduling meetings with qualified client contacts

Meet and exceed a minimum revenue target of within the first year

Build and manage a portfolio of 15 to 25 new accounts

Qualify new leads generated through marketing efforts and activities

Proactively make outbound calls prospecting for business

Position Forum in the market as a solutions provider

Collaborate with other members of the Sales team, as appropriate, to advance a sale/relationship

Quickly demonstrate a broad understanding of Forum's solutions and articulate the value proposition to schedule appointments

Perform other activities assigned by Sales Director or leadership

The ideal candidate is a highly self-driven, disciplined, consultative sales professional who consistently demonstrates resilience and a commitment to help others succeed through an ability to listen and understand the client's point of view.

3-7 years of B2B professional sales experience with a stated revenue target/quota is required, selling with intangible services

Experience with new business development and maintaining relationships. Established relationships with the HR community a plus

Previous experience in an inside sales role is strongly preferred

Ability to quickly learn, understand, and convey conceptual models addressing core business needs

Demonstrated experience selling via the telephone, web, and other technologies

A track record of consistently reaching or surpassing sales quotas

Competent selling to senior management in medium to large organizations, preferably in the Human Resources and/or Learning and Development departments

Aptitude with multiple web-based computer systems along with extensive knowledge of MS Office and proficiency and discipline with company business systems, such as salesforce.com

Superb written, organizational, presentation, and time management skills
