Business Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst/Lead BA - BI
We are urgently recruiting for a dynamic BI BUSINESS ANALYST to work on a large Global Data Warehousing/BI Programme to drive and own gathering, analysis and documentation of business & functional requirements in large programmes.
Experience & Skills requirements:
Strong Business Analysis experience in BI/Analytics programs, preferably end-to-end implementations.
Experience of working in Data Warehousing & Analytics/BI projects. Mapping of business requirements to packaged solution and produce functional designs. Experience/knowledge of BI Products such as Oracle BI 11g, Business Objects, Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire.
Expert in facilitating complex requirements workshops with Business owners to understand and analyse the existing business processes and environment alongwith the user requirements.
Excellent ability to liaise with business owners, influence and guide them. Also experience in presentations to senior client managers.
Must have worked in projects related to Customer Analytics such as Single view of customer, Customer segmentation, Customer retention, Customer insight, Marketing campaign effectiveness etc.
Must take complete ownership of BA activities in project independently without any supervision needed, and able to lead the BA activities. Also ability to take holistic view of the customer account/business while delivering the specific project.
Mentor and guide junior BAs as required.
Understanding of KPIs/dashboards and ability to collect Analytics requirements.
Conversant in recognized analysis methodologies such as UML, Use cases. Working knowledge of atleast one process modelling tool (MS Visio, Aris, WBM).
Properly documenting the business and functional requirements and getting client's sign-off.
Provide 1st level design recommendations for solutions. Continuously ensure that the developed application addresses customer issues.
Requirements tracking and monitoring throughout the SDLC.
Knowledge transition to the development team and testing team. Guiding and assisting the testing team to ensure that the application is thoroughly tested.
Driving the User Acceptance Testing in coordination with the business users.
Exposure to Agile development methodology.
Experience in atleast one of these domains will be an added advantage (but not mandatory) - Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Media, Event Management
