~~~~~~~~~~Relationships
116-The last person you hugged?
Mom when I dropped her off at the airport.
117-Story of your first kiss?
It was in on my friend Alex’s futon couch. Mandy and I were watching something, I don’t remember what. I had my arm around her, we were snuggled up and she nuzzled her head against mine. I kissed her cheek, she turned to me and we just kissed. It was very sweet.
118-Do you like kissing in public?
I like kissing anywhere.
119-Have you ever kissed someone older than you?
A couple of times yeah.
120-You have a preference for boys or girls?
My preference is girls.
121-Is the male or female body closest to perfection?
That’s kind of a dumb question. In terms of my own personal aesthetic tastes, my preference is for the female form, but I find both appealing for different reasons.
122-5 things that irritate you about the same sex/opposite sex.
This is a question that’s just begging for sexism. I’ll just list some things that annoy me from anyone:
1. Sexism
2. Misogyny
3. Hypocrisy
4. Arrogance
5. Willful ignorance.
123-Do you believe in love at first sight?
No. I believe in intense attraction at first sight, but not love. Love is way too complex an emotion to develop for someone merely at the sight of them. You can love how they look, but that’s not being in love.
124-Do you believe in soul mates?
Kinda. I believe in pairings that just work. I don’t believe that there’s only 1 person out there for any of us. Neither do I believe that there is someone out there for everyone.
125-What is your idea of the perfect date?
A fun afternoon wandering around downtown geeking out, followed by an excellent meal and then maybe home to snuggle up and watch a movie together. Maybe go out for dessert afterwards.
126-Based on past relationships or crushes, describe your perfect boyfriend/girlfriend:
Okay, but be it known that this is a hypothetical based on my own personal preferences and tastes. If you feel the need to judge me based on the things that I personally find attractive, please do so elsewhere. My tastes are not here to impress you nor are they required to be unique or break through social norms. Neither is this a declaration of the only type I find attractive.
Physical description: Between 5’ and 5’ 11”. Red hair. Pale skin. Freckles a plus. Slender to athletic build. Beautiful smile.
Personality: Geeky, intelligent, funny, thoughtful, kind, assertive, independent, strong, romantic, sweet, punky.
127-What is the first thing you noticed in someone?
Always their face and smile.
128-Are looks important in a relationship?
To a certain extent. Attraction is an important component of a relationship. I think everyone deserves to be with someone who finds them irresistible and makes them feel attractive and desirable.
129-What’s the most superficial characteristic you look for?
The face. I’m big on faces.
130-What’s your opinion on age differences in relationships?
I have extensive experience here. Age difference is less important than a maturity gap. Unfortunately they often go hand in hand. It’s been my experience that the older you get the less important age difference becomes. What seemed like an insurmountable Age difference when you were 20 doesn’t seem so bad at all when your thirty. For example, a 25 year old dating a 19 year old, that seems like a huge age gap. A 31 year old dating a 25 year old though? Not so much. Maturity is a hard thing to gauge though, someone can seem mature and turn out not to be. Or they can be mature in some aspects but not in others. Basically all that really matters is whether you connect with that person. If you do, and they feel the same way, then who cares about age?
131-Would you ever date someone off of the Internet?
I have a few times. It’s never worked out any worse than dating someone I met in real life first.
132-Five guys/girls whom you find attractive:
I presume you mean celebrities, since dropping the names of people I’m attracted to in my real life would mean nothing to anyone who didn’t know them.
Girls: Allison Brie, Karen Gillan, Zooey Deschanel, Emma Stone, Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Guys: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Ewan McGregor, Jason Segel, Nathan Fillion
133-Do you have a crush on anyone?
I do.
134-A description of the girl/boy you like:
Red head, stunning face, athletic build, gives the best hugs I’ve ever had in my life.
135-Say 1 fact about the person your like:
Being around her is effortless, she just gets me.
136-If the person you like says they like someone else, what would you say?
The person I like does like someone else. I’m not going to say anything about it, it’s not my place. I have an unfortunate track record of falling for people who are unavailable. It’s been my experience that letting those people know about my feelings is a bad idea. Best to just keep it to myself.
137-When was the last time you told someone you loved them?
Last night.
138-Do you think someone has feelings for you?
I do.
139-Do you think someone is thinking about you right now?
Possibly, hard to say.
140-Have you ever cried over a guy/girl?
Many times.
141-Have you ever wanted someone you couldn’t have?
Almost exclusively :\
143-Have you ever liked someone you didn’t expect to?
Sure.
144-Have you ever liked someone who your friends hated?
Hated is a strong word, but yeah I’ve been in relationships where my gf was not popular amongst my circle of friends.
145-Have you ever liked one of your best friends?
Yup.
146-Has anyone told you they don’t want to ever lose you?
Yes. Best not to talk about how those instances ended up though.
Indeed.
148-Is there someone you will never forget?
Many people.
149-Say five ways to win your heart:
No.
150-What turns you on?
Intelligence, confidence, sincerity, geekishness, kissing
151-What turns you off?
Arrogance, hypocrisy, closed mindedness, poor hygiene
152-What is the sexiest thing someone could ever do for/to you?
I’m a geek and a child of the 80s, ergo if a woman were ever to wear the slave Leia costume specifically for me I’d probably die of excitement.
153-What’s the sweetest thing anyone’s ever done for you?
It was pretty sweet that time my ex fiancée proposed to me.
154-What’s something sweet you’d like someone to do for you?
If a gf ever sat me down and asked me hash out for her how I would have made the Star Wars prequels (without me having to ask her if she wanted to hear my ideas) I think I’d get all misty.
155-Have you ever written a song or poem for someone? Have you had one written for you?
Yes to both.
156-What’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever done for someone?
I bought my fiancée a car for her birthday (although she never found out). I knew she was feeling down about always relying on me for rides everywhere. I thought if I got her a car of her own she’d feel more independent, able to come and go at will without relying on me or the busses. Alas, she broke off our engagement shortly after I got her the car (it was going to be a surprise for her when she got back into town). Luckily for me the guy I bought it from was understanding enough to take it back and refund me.
157-Are you in love?
Yeah.
158-Are you in a relationship?
No.
159-If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, what is your favorite thing about him/her?
Next.
160-Are relationships ever worth it?
Most of the time.
161-Is there someone mad because you’re dating/talking to the person you are?
Mad is the wrong word (I think) but someone isn’t happy about it.
162-Can you commit to one person?
I can. Commitment has never been a problem of mine.
163-Do you think you can last in a relationship for 6 months and not cheat?
No question. I would never, ever cheat.
164-Do you ever want to get married?
I would like to, but it’s not a must.
165-Do you think you’ll be married in 5 years?
I’m not holding my breath
166-Future names of your children:
Wedge, Link, Samus, Zelda, Anakin, Luke, Leia, Mara Jade
167-Do you get jealous easily?
No. I did when I was young (I think it had a lot to do with how often I was cheated on) but these days I just don’t have the time for it. Jealousy is like relationship cancer, I don’t let it get a hold on me.
168-The last time you felt jealous, and why?
I’d rather not talk about it actually.
169-What is your definition of cheating?
If you wouldn’t tell your partner what you’re doing, you’re cheating.
170-Have you ever been cheated on?
In almost every relationship I’ve ever had.
171-Do you forgive betrayal?
I forgive it. I’m not the type to hold grudges.
172-Have you ever cheated on someone?
Never.
173-Why did your last relationship fail?
We weren’t very compatible. I think more than anything we were both just lonely. I hadn’t been in a serious relationship for about 2 years, we got along well enough she seemed to like me so we just ended up together. It should have ended much sooner than it did, but I think neither of us wanted to be alone again, so we dragged it out.
174-Things you want to say to an ex:
If I might be allowed a moment to get overly sentimental:
I just want to wish you well.
175-A description of the person you dislike the most:
I can’t think of anyone I actively dislike.
176-If your first true love knocked on your door with apology and presents, would you accept?
I’d accept. I don’t hold any ill will towards any of my exes.
177-How many boyfriends/girlfriends have you had?
Serious relationships: 3
Total number dated: 7
178-How long was your longest relationship?
Seven and a half years
179-You’ll love me if…
That’s kind of an impossible answer to give. Let’s just geek out together and see what happens.
180-Share a relationship story:
I think I’ll keep those to myself.
I’d go back to last April when I fell off the fitness wagon and implore myself to keep going. (I wouldn’t use this opportunity to make any major changes to history because I wouldn’t want to risk losing any of my friends and family to massive alterations in the time line
)
198-If you were an element on the Periodic Table, which would you be and why?
I’m gonna go with H. Hydrogen is pretty cool.
199-If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be?
2007.
200-You’re an Action Movie Hero. What’s your weapon of choice and the line you scream when defeating your arch enemy?
Lightsabre. I’m the strong silent type, no cheesy one liners from me.
201-If you could design an amusement park ride, what would it be like?
Star Tours and Space Mountain crammed together.
202-What is the first curse word that comes to mind?
Shit.
203-What the last party you went to… and when the next will be…
Probably Kim’s Christmas party. The next party I’ll be attending is a Wizarding Independence Day party on Thursday.
204-Halloween costume idea?
Halloween is my favourite holiday, and costuming my favourite hobby. This year I’m not sure. I always have my Ghostbusters costume. If I can get in shape by then I’d love to do a Deadpool costume.
205-How you’d spend ten thousand bucks?
Pay off my debts, maybe get some hardwood flooring for my place.
206-Press ctrl+v and post:
There’s nothing on my clipboard right now.
207-Would you rather be stranded on a desert island with someone you love for ten years or someone you hate for a month? Explain why.
Hate for a month. As appealing as the idea of being with the person you love for 10 years is, 10 years without any other company is a long time. The stress of isolation would suck a lot. I’d rather spend a month with someone I hate. It’s over in 30 days, and there’s motivation to help each other escape the island, if only so we don’t have to be around each other anymore.
208-5 things within touching distance:
iPhone, cordless phone, Cintiq, Wacom pen, canvas
209-A drunken story:
The weekend after my fiancée left me some of the people I worked with invited me to go camping with them. They assured me that getting drunk in the woods would be an ideal solution. Alas it was not. I’m not a big drinker. In fact, I had only ever been drunk once before that occasion. My inexperience with being drunk and my extreme depression over my fiancée leaving me combined to create a sobbing piece of human wreckage shaped like me. It was pretty terrible.
210-What are you supposed to be doing right now?
Nothing.
211-Currently wanting to see anyone?
I’m good on my own for the moment.
212-Why you follow me?
You’re just a list, I don’t follow you.
213-If you met me what would you do?
Again, you’re just a list. We are at the maximum level of me meeting you right now.
214-You have to leave me a random/ridiculous question:
Umm, okay: What do you think dinosaurs dreamed about?
215-Leave me a cute message:
You look nice today list. I like your numbering, it suits you.
I’d be very much surprised if there isn’t life elsewhere in the universe.
221-What is your religion, if any?
I suppose Jedi.
Strength of mind
225-If you were the president, what would you do?
Impose taxes on the rich and corporations the way they had to pay them back in the 50s. I’d cut way back on military spending. The military budget should not be more than twice that of the next 9 top spending military budgets combined. I’d decriminalize drugs and regulate them instead. I’d dump all that money into social programs like universal health care and education.
226-If you could change one thing in the world, what would you change?
If I could I’d make religion just disappear. Just cure everyone of their belief in make believe in favour of rational thinking.
227-Is it the thought that counts? Or is that phrase circumstantial?
Circumstantial.
228-If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do?
My initial thought was I’d tell her how I feel and see what happens, but why put that kind of pressure on her? If she feels the same way we get a day together, if she doesn’t I don’t want to think about how that would impact her psychologically. I think I’d just go spend the day with my friends.
