Go Gold with the Mansory Rolls Royce Wraith Palm Edition 999

If you own a Rolls Royce, you’re already at the uppermost-tier of automotive exclusivity and opulence. Mansory knows how to take that even further with even more extravagant materials in their limited-run of Rolls Royce Wraith ‘Palm Edition 999’ models.

A total of nine Mansory Palm Edition 999 Rolls Royce Wraiths will be produced and adorned with pure gold, epitomizing wealth and glamour in automotive form, because nothing says ‘luxury’ like precious metals.

The classic two-tone paint scheme of the Rolls Royce Wraith was changed to an elegant white and gold sequence that just oozes wealth. Adding to the rich visuals is a carbon fiber bodywork package that includes a front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights, front fenders, side skirts, rear apron, and rear and roof spoilers. But the most ostentatious part of the Mansory Palm Edition 999 is the fact that all the original badges and logos were replaced with 999 pure gold. Customers can even have the German company gold plate metallic-surface parts on the exterior with gold that glistens in the sunlight.

While not pure gold, the Mansory Palm Edition 999 Rolls Royce Wraith also wears gold-colored, 22-inch alloys shod in 265/35/22 Vredestein ultra-high-performance tires.

Beneath the affluent hood sits a 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V-12 engine that’s been upgraded to a point that matches its outrageously rich aesthetics. Mansory tuned and modified the engine of the Palm Edition 999 to produce a muscular 730 horsepower (740 PS) at 5,000 RPM and 737 lb-ft. of torque available from a low 1,500 to 5,500 RPM. This sends the gold-clad, bespoke luxury car to 62 mph from rest in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph.

Step inside of the Mansory Palm Edition 999 Rolls Royce Wraith and you’ll be greeted by a completely bespoke cabin full of lavishness. Expertly crafted leather furnishings are color-coordinated with the exterior with the Palm logos embroidered on various pieces. Additionally, Mansory has also added pure gold pieces throughout the cockpit for an even greater upscale feel.

The limited run of nine gold-clad Mansory Palm Edition 999 Rolls Royce Wraith models are currently available for order from the German company.

How zee Germans do American sports cars.

The new C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette has transformed into a bargain super car that’s highly-regarded around the globe for its performance. Even in Germany, where BMW, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, and others rule, the Corvette is making an impact. The German tuners at BBM Motorsport are one of the latest European companies to take on the new Corvette, and their Z06 is pretty impressive.

The supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine sitting beneath the hood of the Corvette Z06 is more than happy to take advantage of a few modifications. The chip tuning software specialists at BBM Motorsport installed a new software upgrade and air intake as well as a Capristo exhaust system with CES-control and optional H-pipe to replace the main catalytic converter for reduced backpressure. The result is an impressive 690 horsepower and 672 lb-ft. of torque. While that’s not the same output as other American-based tuners have achieved, it’s not doubt impressive.

Transferring that power to the asphalt are new OZ Racing Ultraleggera wheels in either 19- or 20-inch diameters. Depending on the size of the wheels, customers can re-use the factory tires.

Visually, the BBM Motorsport team relies on the addition of a new front spoiler in carbon flash metallic or a visible carbon fiber finish to generate some extra downforce. The featured vehicle is also wrapped in a fully-custom vinyl design from SL Premium. Customers can also create their own vinyl design for their American sports car as well.

All of the featured upgrades on the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 are currently available from BBM Motorsport as individual accessories or a complete package.

The Geiger Mustang GT 820 wears a new grille that optimizes airflow, a front spoiler lip, pair of side skirts, and a rear trunk spoiler and diffuser combo to generate downforce. As an option GeigerCars also offers a special paint finish.

Matching the more aggressive looks on the Geiger Mustang GT 820 are a new set of Y-spoke forged allow wheels wearing a contrasting black finish. The 8.5J x 20 front and 10.0J x 20 rear wheels are shod in sticky 255/35 R20 and 295/30 R20 Michelin high-performance tires for loads of grip.

The new wheel setup also benefits from the GT Performance package that includes Brembo six-piston brakes, a 3.73:1 final drive ratio, and a Torsen limited-slip differential for increased traction.
