During the winter months, my dry and dehydrated skin becomes even more dry and troublesome, so I’m always on the hunt for skincare products which will make the transition from Autumn to Winter a little easier. Dermo28 are an high-performance skincare brand with all of their products being made in Italy, and was created back in 1995 thanks to the collaboration of experts and researchers in the dermatology field. I had never heard of the brand myself, but after reading up on the brand’s values and technology that goes into their skincare, I was instantly intrigued.
The Dermo28 brand name was created because 28 days is the period that cells employ to regenerate and regeneration for us is a synonym of life and energy. Dermo28 Youth Complex 30ml £90
The star product is the Dermo28 Youth Complex which you can purchase individually or you can get it as part of the Youth’Mas Set alongside a few more products. Described as a longlasting moisturizing serum which is suitable for any skin type. Containing a synergy of Hyaluronic Acid and Saccharide Isomerate ensures an instant feeling of soothing, while maintaining a constant level of optimal hydration. The serum contains the following active ingredients;

The serum is beautifully packaged within a clear, glass bottle with a silver chrome pump and it does look and feel very luxurious, and it has a clinical vibe to it too which I really like. The serum itself can be applied to cleansed skin in both the mornings and evenings by gently massaging the skin. The serum has such a lovely scent, which is hard to describe but it smells spa-like and I really look forward to my serum step within my skincare routine as I enjoy the serum so much. The consistency is quite thick for a serum and is similar to a gel, and has a nice viscosity and smoothes over the skin effortlessly with no residue or tackiness left behind. I’ve found that I need two pumps of serum for my face and neck, but if my skin is feeling particularly dry and in dire need of moisture, I’ve enjoyed applying a slightly more generous application for an hydration boost.
I absolutely love how silky the Youth Complex leaves my skin, and I know I shouldn’t but I can’t stop touching my skin after applying it as my skin feels so lovely. I never skip the moisturiser step but I find the Youth Complex to be so intensively nourishing that I could skip a moisturiser completely as it’s such a rich serum, and it really quenches my skin’s thirst. I really enjoy applying this serum both morning and night and I’ll be gutted when I finally run out of the serum as it’s such a divine product, and one I’m thoroughly enjoying using within my skincare routine.
The Dermo28 Youth’Mas Set is such a fantastic set which has been put together as part of their Christmas collection, and offers a considerable saving. The Youth’mas Set is £69 which is obviously a pricey kit, however the set contains four products which have a total value of £163.94 so it really is a great deal especially when you consider that the set includes a full size of the Youth Complex which retails for £90 alone, so if you fancied trying the Youth Complex, it’d definitely be better to purchase the Youth’Mas Set as you get three extra products for less than the price of the Youth Complex.
