About the company
Emu Design, a wholly owned subsidiary of the GBST group of companies, is one of Australia’s leading digital agencies with offices in Australia, UK, Hong Kong and the USA. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane Office as the Head of Projects and Delivery.
Key capability requirements
This new role will be responsible for providing Leadership and Management to the Emu Design team, ensuring the effective execution of Web Technology projects, and delivery of quality products and solutions to our diverse client group.
Key responsibilities:
Direct and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget;
Review project proposals and plans to determine time frames, costs, staffing requirements and procedures for accomplishing projects;
Provide development and implementation plans to support product rollout requirements;
Management of the Emu Design team, including resourcing requirements, recruitment, training and performance management as required.
Review and report on all aspects of project progress as required.
If you are looking for a great new challenge and can satisfy the following criteria, we want to hear from you:
Extensive, demonstrated skills in a program management capacity including project management process changes and portfolio reporting and forecasting.
Extensive, demonstrated skills in a professional project management capacity including the management of integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality and resources (both human and technology) in the software development area.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Project Managerial role delivering internally built software across the entire software development lifecycle.
Experience managing teams of greater than 20 resources.
Website design and development and Financial Systems implementation experience is desirable.
