Con la chiusura di GameSpy, molti titoli si ritroveranno presto senza componente online, un problema che sta per colpire anche una cinquantina di giochi pubblicati da Electronic Arts. Nella maggior parte dei casi non si tratta certo di primizie, ma è innegabile che alcune di queste produzioni siano ancora molto amate da una nicchia piuttosto fedele, come nel caso dei vari Battlefield e Command & Conquer.
